Weekly Photo Challenge : Minimalist

In this week’s challenge, Jen set this task – to show a minimalist photo.

She said, in part, “Minimalist photography is characterized by a large portion of negative space, a fairly monochromatic colour palette with good contrast, and an interesting subject that is able to stand on its own to capture the interest of the viewer.”

My submission is this beautiful single Calla Lily (Zantedeschia), photographed from directly above, on a dark table, with the base of the vase barely visible!
