…. but does it work?

Not something one sees every day! A pedestrian crossing with split designated directions. There were no crowds of tourists at the time, so one is left to speculate whether it works!

….. and, does it work? This is also a test to see if an email notification of a new post is triggered, as none was sent in relation to the recent post “Windows”

    1. It is amusing, Mlle. No one has yet told me so, but maybe it is unique? The worst in my experience is Italy, where the drivers pay no heed to pedestrian crossings 😉

      1. I’ve heard that in Italy even when the traffic light sired, the drivers go through as long as there is one coming on the other side!!! ?
In Amsterdam cycliste are more important than drivers and pedestrians….!

        1. Oh, I agree, those cyclists are terrifying. Mild mannered nice people become frenzied killers on their bicycles. 🙁

  1. I like this pedestrian crossing. I’m usually the odd one walking on the wrong side and have to be told to get over. Your blog postings are working, but I’m not sure if mine are. I’ve posted a couple of things lately with no response. Still some creases to iron out…

    1. Mmmm. I haven’t had notifications about 4 or 5 in your series. Here’s another issue – when I clicked on Wish here, it took me to your dot com (which isn’t there any more), not your dot org. Have to dash. Will read your latest two posts later 🙂
