WPC : Pedestrian

Most great cities have a pedestrian mall or street. In 1976, the city of Adelaide converted part of one of its major streets, Rundle Street, to a pedestrian zone, Rundle Mall. The number of pedestrians to be seen varies with the weather, the day of the week and time of day.

Adelaide, population circa 1.2 million, is the capital of the state of South Australia.
