Weekly Photo Challenge : Ambience

Only metres from the busy reception desk, the hotel only a short step from Hong Kong Airport, is the calm ambience of the lobby lounge. A great place to sip a cool drink, and watch the passing traffic. A total contrast, is a small English pub, where even the televised World Cup Rugby can not detract from the peaceful ambience.

Weekly Photo Challenge : On Top

This week, the challenge issued by Sara Rosso is entitled “On top”. “It can be a feeling, a perspective, or a physical location”.

My mind immediately flew to this work of art near the Salzburg Cathedral. We were unable to ascertain the story, so we let our imagination run wild.

There is no doubt about the position of Marksburg Castle, towering above the Rhine near Koblenz.
