That is a truly magnificent composition in black and white!
Thank you, Marion. Same tree, modest cropping and refining!
I agree with Marion, that one is a blast! Love it.
Thank you, Chris. I have been studying the master 😉
Nice looking stick, Ken. 🙂 🙂
Thank you. Nature in survival mode, Jo.
I like the strong lines of the first photo too. Good to see some Aussie blue sky – it’s very grey down here in the south at present.
Thank you, Suzanne. We can handle chill when the sky looks like that.
You’re good at black and white.
Thank you, Trish. I do enjoy B&W when it works out as well as that ‘sad’ tree did.
Grace and Peace, Trish
B&W gives a nice feeling to that dry tree!

Thank you, Mlle. That is worse than dry, I’m afraid!
I didn’t want to say it but that’s what I thought!!!!

It is interesting, because the tree has come again from lower down, as you can see in the colour pic, but the original main trunk is quite dead. We suspect a saboteur was at work, but we can’t imagine why. Bizz
This certainly underlines what Tina Schell says in her contribution to Lens artists. In am still to grow into monochrome.Beautiful converted image
Thank you. There are many attempts in the past ?
