WPC : Ascend

He alights from the train; his destination, Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle. Unsurprisingly, they occupy the high ground. A walk of just over a kilometre. The shortest distance appears to be through the town centre. The road, becomes a lane, but the cathedral remains in sight. The ascent gets steeper. Later he discovers that, typical British humour has applied. The last section is simply called “Steep Hill”.

WPC : Serene

An evolving scientist was fortunate to visit Sheffield Park, a National Trust property in East Sussex. It was Sunday, there were many visitors including children and yet, it was serene. Sublimely serene.
