Hi – you know I would wait ten hours to see this painting – and I can’t say that about many works – I love the shot of all the people – partly because as the first comment noted –

We travelled halfway round the world to see that painting, Yvette. The detail is amazing – for example, the different hands of the father (one almost feminine, one masculine and wrinkled as you’d expect) and of the prodigal son’s footwear. Rembrandt’s interpretation goes way beyond the basic ‘story’ in the Bible! Interestingly, a year later, I saw a smaller reproduction in the Holy Trinity Church in Coventry, England!
